Vault Art Glasgow is a new opportunity for artists to sell their work and for the public, collectors and galleries to buy contemporary art. Twelve of the most innovative galleries and organisations have been invited to present a selected range of new art by emergent, alongside leading artists from Glasgow and beyond: a snapshot of one of the most original and exciting contemporary art scenes in Europe.

For Vault Art Glasgow, David Dale Gallery will be presenting the work of Shaun O’Donnell, Dan Miller, Risa Tsunegi, Ric Warren & Sarah Wright.

Dan Miller

Dan Miller lives and works in Glasgow. He graduated in 2002 from The Glasgow School of Art. Recent exhibitions and residencies include: POINT/ LINE/ SURFACE/ SOLID, David Dale Gallery, Glasgow, 2011; No Noise, The Agency Gallery, London, 2011; CPH AIR – Copenhagen Artist in Residence, The Factory for Art and Design, Copenhagen, 2010; Neil Clements, Dan Miller, Tom Varley, Galerie Mark Müller, Zürich and Still Life, in association with SWG3, The Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art, 2010. Upcoming exhibition: Industrial Aesthetics, Hunter College/ Times Square Gallery, New York, October 2011.

Shaun O'Donnell

Shaun O’Donnell lives and works in Glasgow. He graduated in 2010 from The Glasgow School of Art. Recent selected exhibitions include: RSA New Contemporaries 2010, The Mound, Edinburgh, 2011; Salon, Doubtfire Gallery, Edinburgh, 2011; White, David Dale Gallery, Glasgow, 2010. O’Donnell has upcoming exhibitions in +4411 Gallery, Studio Warehouse, Glasgow, December 2011, and Sierra Metro in 2012.

Risa Tsunegi

Risa Tsunegi lives and works in Glasgow. She graduated in 2006 from a BA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art, London, and received a Masters of Fine Art from The Glasgow School of Art, 2009. Tsunegi was the recipient of the Glasgow Sculpture Studios MFA Graduate Fellowship supported by the Gordon Foundation and the Hope Scott Trust. Recent selected exhibitions include: Not from Concentrate, Glasgow Sculpture Studios offsite, 2010; abcdefghijklmnopqrtsuvwxyz, with Theodoros Stamatagiannis, David Dale Gallery, Glasgow, 2010; Another Opening, Nomi's Kitchen, Glasgow, 2010.

Ric Warren

Ric Warren lives and works in Glasgow. He graduated in 2008 from The Glasgow School of Art. Recent selected exhibitions include: characters in search of an exit, group exhibition with Mircea Cantor, Beatrice Gibson, Mauricio Guillén and Amalia Pica, curated by Nicola Celia Wright, MOT International, London, 2011; Gallacher&Warren: Nothing Fades Quicker Than Yesterday's Ideas About Tomorrow, (Collaboration with Katherine Gallacher), part of The Merchant City Festival 2011, Shop Unit, Stockwell Street, Merchant City, Glasgow, July 2011; Borders, Boundaries & Barricades: Redeveloping Geographies of Division, David Dale Gallery & Studios, Glasgow, April 2011. Sarah Wright

Sarah Wright lives and works in Glasgow. She graduated in 2009 from The Glasgow School of Art.
