Carrot Stairs by Nicolas Party is the first permanent commission produced by David Dale Gallery. Developed over the last year with Party, Carrot Stairs is an ambitious renovation of the foyer staircase in hand painted tiles. Working for the first time in ceramics architecturally, Party has produced an installation which shows his distinctive and playful approach to painting, while remaining sympathetic to the building’s history.
