Stasis Summer Party – A Sedation

A party, a new film in collaboration with Daniel Cook, accompanying music by Ailie Ormston and performance interventions.

STASIS lives and works between Glasgow & London, UK. STASIS is a group who are working across dance, theatre, live art & installation. STASIS is made up of Aniela Piasecka, Olivia Norris, Isabel Palmstierna and Paloma Proudfoot. Performances include: New Work, Galleria Marselleria, Milan, Italy (2017); It Just Keeps Happening, Dance International Festival, SWG3, Glasgow, UK (2017); She’s a soft touch, Inverleith House, Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh, UK (2016); The First Blast Of The Trumpet Against The Monstrous Regiment Of Women, Pollyanna, Paradise Palms, Edinburgh, UK (2015).

Daniel Cook is a Scottish film maker and artist. Most recently his debut film ‘The King and I’ was screening and won awards at the Glasgow Short Film Festival (The Hilton Memorial Award 2018) and Hidden Door Festival (Jury Award 2018). Cook also presented ‘Glassmount’, a new film within a solo exhibition at Embassy Gallery, Edinburgh. ‘Glassmount included performances from Stasis, sound and music produced by Fergus Cook, co-direction from Callum Russell and was produced by Marcy Paterson.
